A Note About the Preview Pictures

We are experimenting with adding little preview pictures to the SimsHost Chronicle. We intend these pictures to be representative of what you will find, but we are limited in how much we can fit into the Chronicle and it takes a lot of time to make those little images. It would be hopeless to try to keep up with more than 60 sites, so we don't try to show an illustration of everything here. Please visit the sites to see the full-size pictures and to see all the things included in each update; and if you like them, please let us know in the Yahoo Group! :)

We try to catch all the updates as they go by, but we do miss some. Once in a while the webmasters are busy making stuff and working on their sites, and just plain forget to tell us about it. You might want to keep an eye on the groups for additional update announcements and check your favorites among the active sites once in a while for more great stuff!

Yuppie Sims updates with 13 new hair colors and hair styles for females and 4 for males from light brown to light green, and strawberry blonde to bald. Some colors are natural colors, and others were created to compliment the custom skin colors. You will also find today 16 new eye colors for The Sims2 Body Shop.

Still the Biggest, Still the Best

As we approach our second anniversary we thought you would like to know that the sites hosted by SimsHost taken collectively are still by far the largest site for The Sims in the world. Well, in all ways but one: We still have the lowest subscription cost of any site.

Continuing subscribers are paying only $2.00 a month (plus about a tenth of a penny per download on the average). That's about a third the cost of a typical stand-alone subscription site, for access to a hundred times as many downloads. We are pleased and proud to be able to do this while allowing each site to retain its own individual personality, even as SimsHost continues to grow.
