Brian Can't Feed Cecelia Because the Refrigerator is Blocked!

Consider the plight of poor baby Cecelia Willows. The prospect of growing up at a cemetery is weird enough, but now she and all her family are faced with the prospect of soon becoming permanent residents because they can't get to the refrigerator! Some invisible object is blocking Brian Willows from getting to the fridge so that he can feed his baby!

The invisible object is a stuck kicky bag, and you probably have them in your game. If you find that your sims can't get somewhere or walk around seemingly empty squares, you probably are encountering the Kicky Bag Bug. The invisible object was left over when somethign interrupted your sims' kicky bag game. For a while it looked like all lots would eventually become unplayable as more and more squares became blocked by this game bug, but fortunately, thanks to the fans who are programming mods for The Sims 2, now you can do something about it. One solution that we know of is the College Adjuster created by twojeffs, which includes an option to remove stuck objects.

Another common bug is finding objects that show as "in use." You can get rid of these by into Buy mode and using 'move_objects on' to delete them, but there's an easier way: use the Testing Cheats to Force Error on the object. That will usually clear the "in use" flag so that your sims can once again sit in those chairs and put things on those tables.
