Give Your Sims to Your Cell Phone!

The Sims have taken over their campus, your computer, and your life, and now they are marching on to the next horizon--your cell phone! This fall, Electronic Arts plans to release The Sims™ 2 Mobile, a game that you can play on your cell phone anywhere you go!

In this tiny universe, your sims will be able to socialize with each other and they will have aspirations and motives as in the PC game.

Obviously, your cell phone will not be able to display the richness of graphics and huge neighborhoods that your PC can handle, but you will be able to download your favorite sims from your game. You will also be able to navigate around and customize lots in this Lilliputian version of The Sims™ 2, and there is a new class of "tradable" objects for the game.

With The Sims™ 2 Mobile, you will be able to upload and download things via the web. It includes an interface where you can barter and trade things in the game, encouraging interaction with other Sims fans.

Whether fan sites will be able to support these features remains to be be seen. If so, we expect that designing for the tiny cell phone screen will become an art form unto itself, presenting unique challenges to the talents of Sims fan artists around the world!

The new game even comes with unique ring tones and wallpapers so that you can customize your cell phone to accommodate your Sims addiction!

Another camp ground was uploaded today at Yuppie Sims. This time with a SWIMMABLE LAKE!! There is a great picnic shelter on the lot where up to sixteen Sims can get together for a cookout. If your Sims want to stay overnight they can stay in one of three cabins (max occupancy 8).
